Our 2020 Panama City Beach Travel Guide is live! When I have destination engagement sessions, I like to bring my family along and extended the trip. This time we opted for a few days in Panama City Beach before the hustle and bustle of spring break. A quick drive to the Florida Panhandle and we were greeted by high winds, warm weather, and cloudy skies. To our surprise, we were also greeted by tornado warnings and rough waters. So we grabbed one of the best lunches we’ve ever had, checked into our beachfront hotel, hung out in the hot tub, and ordered in for dinner. While our beach day wasn’t exactly as planned, we had the best time and that is important to remember. It’s important to remember to make the best of any situation and be grateful for the quality time together. So here is our very foggy but beautiful beach day!

Enjoy!

Our Panama City Beach Travel Tips:

  1. Whatever you do, make sure you visit Finn’s Island Style Grub. They have two locations and a coffee shop. We visited the Finn’s at Little Village and were greeted by their super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered every single one of their suggestions and they were very knowledgable when it came to food allergies. Order the Island Grill Nachos with Jerk Chicken — because grilled pineapple and jerk chicken go really really well together. We also ordered fish tacos, insanely flavorful carnitas tacos, and a vegan burrito bowl for our little guy that has a dairy allergy. EVERYTHING was amazing and we cannot wait to visit again!
  2. Looking for a beachfront family friendly hotel? The Springhill Suites by Marriott is only six months old and amazing! Large rooms, gorgeous views, awesome staff, and so many fun things for kids to do. The pool is great and the beach access is wonderful. They even have super chic pool cabanas for rent! We loved our stay so much that we’ll definitely be back.
  3. Looking for a casual dive bar + seafood restaurant? Head to our favorite, Dusty’s Oysters & Raw Bar. Eclectic, fun, and good. It’s the perfect place to eat all the oysters you want!
