Nicole and Craig’s modern backyard Baltimore wedding is everything a dream wedding should be — personal, stunning, and completely unforgettable. They started their day getting ready in the city, made a stop in Mt. Vernon for bridal party portraits, and then headed to Towson for an evening that had everyone on the dance floor until the very end.

A Wedding Full of Personal Details

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that so much love and intention had gone into every corner of this day. Lauren Niles brought the design vision to life, and the details were absolutely everywhere — the custom monogram woven through the invitations, the bar signage, and even the napkins. Nicole’s brother handcrafted live edge wood tables just for the reception, which is the kind of personal touch that makes a wedding feel truly one of a kind. The wedding favors were equally thoughtful, and the stationery suite was the kind you want to frame.

Dancing Under a Stunning Clear Top Tent

The reception took place under a breathtaking clear top tent set over a custom painted tennis court — and guests danced on it all night long. With the sky visible above and the lights glowing below, it was one of the most beautiful settings I’ve had the privilege of photographing. The kind of backdrop that makes every single frame feel like a painting.

Food, Fun, and a Little Bit of La Hora Loca

This couple had a huge focus on the guest experience, and the food stations and lounge areas scattered throughout the evening kept the energy up and the conversation flowing all night. The groom had his own special moments too — a cigar rolling station and a whiskey bar were a very welcome touch. The evening ended with La Hora Loca, a Peruvian tradition also known as the crazy hour, complete with oversized hats and a full-on dance party that had us all laughing and moving.
