Summer Minneapolis Engagement Session: Jasmine & Nick

We are sharing Jasmine and Nick’s Summer Minneapolis Engagement Session on the blog today! Since we recently migrated our blog and website to a new platform, we are re-blogging all of our old favorites. Lucky for you, that means incredible sessions and weddings that you get to see again. Jasmine and Nick planned their Baltimore wedding from Minneapolis, a place that they had made so many incredible memories together. So naturally, we photographed their session in a place they called home. We had beautiful weather and met up at Lake of the Isles overlooking downtown. It was the perfect starting location for laid-back picnic vibes including their favorite Mumm sparkling wine! Jasmine and Nick could not do a session without their adorable golden doodle Paprika.  I’m so glad because she was such a sweetheart and she is part of their engagement story (they got engaged on National Puppy Day!) I truly felt like I was meeting a celebrity after many FaceTime calls that Pappy made casually photobombed.

After a beautiful stroll around the lake, we headed downtown to photograph on one of Minnesota’s famous bridges overlooking the Mississippi River. It was the best way to end their session watching the sun set over the river. I cannot wait to share more of their wedding day, so be sure to check back with us soon.
