Today we are sharing our Venice, Italy travel guide. An enchanting city of canals, captivating architecture, and charm. We couldn’t help ourselves and did the most romantic touristy Gondola ride. There’s just something about riding through the narrow canals next to ancient buildings and being serenaded in Italian. It was an unforgettable experience — just like the movies.
Every day consisted of pizza and gelato in the Piazza San Marco. While this is a busy square, its a great people watching area of Venice. You’ll see a wave of birds dancing to the musicians, entertainers charming children, and tourists ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the excitement. You’ll pass by market stands with fresh fruit and pasta. And if you look closely, you will find quirky door knockers on every street.
During the evening, it’s the perfect time to go for stroll with *another* gelato as you take in the gorgeous sunset and sounds of the nearby Opera House. Venice is magical during the summer and one of those cities you must visit before it’s gone.
Enjoy!
