Sara and Andrew’s Hay Adams wedding was an August dream from start to finish. A garden affair overlooking the White House on one of the most beautiful summer days — honestly, it doesn’t get more DC than that. Erica Natal of Ida Rose Events planned every detail to absolute perfection, from the luxurious modern invitations all the way down to their sweet pup Ravioli making an appearance. We are so thrilled to share a few previews of this incredible weekend.
The full wedding post is coming soon, and trust me — you’ll want to see every frame. In the meantime, a few of my favorites are below.
If you’re dreaming of a Hay Adams wedding, it is truly one of Washington DC’s most iconic and magical settings. The rooftop garden overlooking the White House is unlike anything else in the city. Moreover, it photographs beautifully on film — the warm summer light, the lush greenery, the grandeur of it all. It’s the kind of venue that makes every frame feel like a painting. If you’re planning your DC wedding and want to connect, I’d love to chat.
Shot on the Fujifilm GFX 50S, Sony A1, and Nikon Z6II.
