I’m excited to finally share our Cinque Terre Travel Guide. Featuring all of our favorite things to do and places to eat.

During my spring trip to the breathtaking Cinque Terre region of Italy, I had the opportunity to explore each of the five terres. It was an enchanting experience filled with delightful moments of indulgence. As I meandered through the picturesque streets, I couldn’t resist immersing myself in the local cuisine and savoring the region’s renowned wines. Of course, no visit to Italy is complete without gelato. We recommend trying every gelato place in town, seriously.

Among the five terres, each possessing its own unique charm, two stood out as my personal favorites. Manorola captured my heart with its awe-inspiring landscapes and buzzing vibes. The views from the terraces were nothing short of mesmerizing, as the vibrant hues of the Mediterranean Sea mingled with the pastel-hued buildings perched on the cliffs. If you’re in town, stop by Nessun Dorma for a delicious wine flight and epic views.

Corniglia, on the other hand, offered a tranquil respite from the bustling tourist crowds. Its quiet and quaint neighborhoods transported me to a simpler time, where time seemed to slow down. It’s more of a residential town that most people skip over. However, if you love off the beaten path, you’ll enjoy wandering through the narrow streets. We discovered our favorite restaurant of the trip here, Cecio Ristorante Camere. Their black lobster linguine and tiramisu was absolutely heavenly.

We stayed in a charming AirBnb in Monterosso. This vibrant coastal gem truly came to life during brunch, when the aromas of delicious focaccia filled the air. We loved visiting Focacceria Antonio Liberatore V each morning before catching the train.  The town’s lively atmosphere, combined with its beautiful sandy beach and inviting turquoise waters, made it an ideal home base for our trip.

Enjoy!
