I am so happy to share Brian and Melissa’s San Diego Vow Renewal at Mission Trails. Surrounded by their close family, the exchanged vows in celebration of their tenth wedding anniversary over New Year’s Eve. They had everyone in tears as their two sweet kids frolicked around them. Melissa shared a beautiful caption with her post that is too good not to share.
“**MUSHY POST*** I am in tears, crying. Why? Because of this. Renee Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these AMAZING and stunning photos. It wasn’t just about getting dressed up or looking pretty. It was so much more, it was for us, for our children to see us recommitting to do this crazy thing called life together, Forever. See These pictures are proof, proof that God is good. No, God is GREAT! Because marriage is HARD. It is rewarding and disappointing. It’s love even when we aren’t in love and commitment even when you feel like running away. I prayed as a young girl for a great man, and God answered. What I forgot to do was pray for me, to be a great wife. I haven’t always been, and even though maybe sometimes I thought we wouldn’t make it this far, because I wanted to give up, you didn’t. THANK GOD, we’ve made it this far. We have weathered BIG storms, Built a Family on STRONG foundations, and surrounded ourselves with people that will always bring us back together, and for that 10 years is a big deal.
