June on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is truly something special, and this waterfront private estate wedding in Oxford, Maryland was the perfect example of why couples fall in love with this charming coastal region.

Set just outside of St. Michaels, the couple hosted their wedding at a beautiful family estate overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. With sweeping waterfront views, a long private driveway, and thoughtfully designed spaces across the property, the setting felt both intimate and grand — the perfect backdrop for a celebration filled with meaningful personal touches.

The day began with a timeless blue and white color palette that carried throughout the design. The ceremony took place directly in front of the stately entrance of the home, where guests gathered as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by summer greenery and soft coastal breezes.

One of the most memorable moments came as the ceremony began. In a surprise for the groom and his family, the bride arrived down the estate’s long driveway in one of the groom’s father’s prized vintage cars — a stunning Chevy Belair from his personal collection. The moment perfectly blended family history with a touch of classic Eastern Shore charm. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the property’s car barn for cocktail hour, where vintage details and relaxed waterfront views created a warm, inviting atmosphere. From there, the celebration moved to a tented reception overlooking the water, where long tables and thoughtful design details created an elegant yet relaxed summer evening. At the center of the reception design was a dramatic king table that led to a woven lantern and lush greenery installation, creating a beautiful focal point beneath the tent.

Later in the evening, the bride surprised the groom once again by changing into a stunning traditional South Asian lengha, while the wedding party also transitioned into traditional attire — bringing vibrant cultural elements into their celebration.

As the sun set over the Chesapeake Bay, guests filled the dance floor and celebrated late into the evening, the perfect ending to a truly unforgettable Eastern Shore waterfront wedding.
