Deerfield Beach Maternity Session: Rich & Jodi-Ann

You are in for a treat with Rich and Jodi-Ann’s Deerfield Beach maternity session. On a beautiful winter evening, we met at the Deerfield Beach Pier for a modern and minimal session. We started on the pier just at golden hour and headed to the beach as the sun was setting. We had the absolute best time frolicking around the beach. This was one of my most playful sessions, a beautiful and lighthearted moment during pregnancy. Not to mention, seeing my cousin glow in happiness and joy was the best part. It is always an honor to document such intimate and special moments like these.

If you were ever wondering why I photograph with film — this session is the epitome of why. The way it captures light, tones, colors, and a little hint of texture absolutely melts my heart every single time. Truly. I first studied film in the sixth grade back in Miami, Florida. And when digital DSLRs became a “big thing” during college, I was mesmerized. The ability to capture an image instantly and view it right away was unreal. However, I was missing the colors, vibrancy, and natural tones of what I was capturing. So naturally, film stole my heart again and I’m so happy technology has brought me full circle. I hope you enjoy this Deerfield Beach maternity session and leave feeling inspired to capture some of these precious moments.
