Today we’re sharing our Big Island of Hawaii travel guide. It was a thrilling quick trip to the island that left me breathless at every turn. The moment I set foot on its sandy shores, I was greeted by the most breathtaking beaches and views imaginable. Between sunbathing, hiking, and swimming, we also indulged in the local feasts such as fresh poke from Da Poke Shack and Hawaiian shaved ice from Ululani’s.
You can’t go to Hawaii without visiting their insanely gorgeous beaches. Since we only had a few days after Gina and Eddie’s elopement, we made sure to get as much beach time in as possible. We visited a black sand beach (Waipi’o Valley), white sand beach (Mahai’ula), and a green sand beach (Papakolea). It wasn’t just the physical landscape that captivated me; it was the vibrant culture and warm hospitality of the Hawaiian people. From hiking to dining, swimming to driving, it was truly a unique experience and I’m so glad we explored the island.
The Big Island had taken hold of my heart, leaving me yearning for more adventures and experiences in this tropical paradise.
Enjoy!
